Midwest Muscle Report has put together a traditional yet original home made, mashed sweet potato recipe that will have your family begging for more!


What you’ll need…

8 large sweet potatoes

2 Tbsp. light brown sugar

2 Tbsp. I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter (light) spread

Ground Cinnamon



Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit

Rinse sweet potatoes and place into baking pan

Split sweet potatoes with knife down the center

Bake for an hour and a half

Once sweet potatoes are extremely soft, cut ends off then peel skin off of the potato

Place all peeled potatoes into large mixing bowl

Mash sweet potatoes with hand masher or use hand mixer

Add in 2 Tbsp. light brown sugar, 2 Tbsp. butter (see above), cinnamon to taste

Mash sweet potatoes more to mix in toppings, enjoy!
